Relationship Therapy
I believe that trusting relationships have the power to heal us. When we feel safe enough to be vulnerable, there is massive potential for transformation and growth. As your clinician, I take time to cultivate rapport and tend to our therapeutic relationship so that you feel safe to express yourself. While talking is helpful, some things can be expressed nonverbally. As an art therapist, I draw from different creative mediums to help my clients find an authentic way of externalizing their feelings. Even if you have never considered yourself an artist, art therapy can be an exceptional tool for understanding yourself. In my practice I also use feminist therapy, existential therapy, and parts work.
Shorty, Co-Therapist
Shorty is my happy little wild-child. He is a 4 year old puppy and his favorite things are running, playing, and snuggling. You might hear him yap in the distance now and then as we work together.
