Student Internships
Student Internship applications for Spring 2025 are currently open!
What We Offer
At Mahina Therapy PLLC, we offer a space for students to grow as clinicians, grow in their Self-of-the-Therapist, and learn the skills necessary to be a healer in their communities. There is an opportunity to stay on at Mahina Therapy as an Associate Clinician once internship is completed, but we also provide support in helping students to open up their own private practice once their internship ends if that is something that calls to them. We are a collaborative group of therapists that believes that the collective is stronger than isolation. Since a majority of our clientele are QTBIPOC and LGBTQIA2S+, we offer individual and group (if there are 3+ interns at the time of placement) supervision that focuses on these populations.
Interns will see 10-12 clients per week based on populations that they wish to work with as well as other populations to challenge growing edges
Steady stream of referrals
Complete billing support
Weekly clinical supervision
Monthly consultation group
HIPAA-compliant email, phone number (calls and texts), fax
