~ Specialties:

In therapy, we'll take time to explore deeper, underlying emotions that you may not have been given time and space to sit with. My approach, although always informed by research, AAMFT & APA ethics codes, and best practices, is informal, not always eloquent, and often includes humor. We'll explore what's happening "here and now" in your life and in the present moment, as well as taking a look at the family and communities you come from to see how all of those systems impact who you are and how you navigate in the world. Madolaties that I utilize with clients are Emotionally Focused Therapy, Socio-Emotional Relationship Therapy, Attachment-based, Ecopsychology/Ecotherapy, Intergenerational Family Therapy.

Finn, Co-Therapist

This is Finn! You may hear him barking from miles away-- he has a lot to say! He's one year old and is cuddly, loyal, and protective. He also wants to be best friends with every cat he's ever seen. (That hasn't worked out for him so far.)
